Sims2 用のトラックに Trivium の Like Light To The Flies が起用されたニュースがしばらく前に伝わったのですが、管理人がゲームを知らないために書き忘れていたところ（申し訳なし！）、Brian から update を頂きました。「Sims語」なる独特の言語で歌入れをした事についての Matt のコメントです。
「はじめに LLTTF の歌入れの再録の打診があったとき思ったんだ、「OK、外国語の勉強だ」って。それで、みんなからその言葉は「simlish」（Sim語）っていうゲームのために創られた言葉だって聞いた。ゲームのことは知っていたけど、過去に他にサントラをやったバンドを調べて、これは結構面白そうだなって思った。Sims の担当者は、Sim語は他の何語にも似てないユニバーサル言語なんだって言った。だから誰もホントはよく分かってない。俺は訳をもらって、Jason Suecof とスタジオに飛び込んだ。Jason のことをよく知ってる人は、彼がクレイジーだって分かるだろ。俺がちょっとふざけたらもう Jason がエンドレスでジョークの狂おしい猛攻撃を浴びせてくるんだぜ。Jason が1時間ほど大騒ぎしたあと、やっと俺の、Trivium の定番曲にチンプンカンプな歌を入れなおすレコーディングも終了したよ。そりゃーおっかしかったぜ！」

変というか面白いというか(笑）管理人の耳についたのは「リビンゴウビビ～」という部分で、これがなかなか消えません。
なおどのSIMS2に入っているのか等サッパリなので、ゲームに詳しい方教えて下さい。

“So when I was originally asked to rerecord the vocals of like light to the flies, I thought… Ok, time to learn a foreign language. Then everyone said the language was simlish… A made up language for the game. Already familiar with the game, I checked out the other previous bands who did this and I thought it was actually pretty cool. A worker at the Sims told me its a language unlike any other so it then becomes universal. Since no one really knows it. I was given the translation and hopped into the studio with Jason Suecof. Anyone familiar with Jason knows he’s crazy, and if I’m doing something sorta silly… there’s gonna be no end to his madness and onslaught of jokes. After about an hour of Jason’s hilarity and my redoing a classic Trivium track in gibberish, we were done. It was really fun.”
