-the album’s lead single, “The End,” teams Mr.Cazares and Nadja Paulen (the former bassist for Coal Chamber) with Matthew K. Heafy, the 19-year-old guitarist and lead singer for Trivium, Roadrunner’s most exciting young band.
-Dave Chavarri, drummer for Ill Nino, songs two versions of the same fill for Mr.Heafy; they’re writing a song for Kind Diamond to sing, and they’re trying to choose between the galloping sound of Mercyful Fate or the more hard-swinging sound associated with Kind Diamond’s more recent albums.
