2. Please pick your Best 3 Live Performance (any band who you saw in 2005):
Iron Maiden: Any given night we had the honor of playing with them on this year’s summer metal fest across America.
Children Of Bodom: Literally on any given night as well, on the current north American tour that we’re on right now with Bodom. Bodom are rather ridiculously amazing live.
Arch Enemy, Tokyo: The show we opened for them the first night of our first Japan show in October. Hearing the audience sing the melodies along with them was so amazing.
3. Please let us know 3 biggest news for you which happens in 2005 (this can be anything, your personal news, general news, music news, etc.)
Trivium performing with Iron Maiden on this past summer’s Ozzfest. That was a privelige in itself, being able to perform with one of our biggest influences.
That I was asked to be a team captain on the first ever Roadrunner All Stars Session CD. An honor and amazing chance.
Trivium asked to tour in Japan for the first time ever. Japan was one of the most beautiful and incredible places I have ever seen. The fans, promoters, crew, food, nature, cities, everything… Perfect.
4. Please let us know who do you think will be the most anticipated act in 2006?
To be completely honest, Trivium. We have been busting our asses on the road for a year and a half straight now. We’re beginning to see the world turning their heads in our direction. ’06 is our time.
5. Please let us know how is your year 2005.
2005 has been one of the longest but truly incredible years ever. It showed our turning from being an unknown new band… to one of the most talked about and anticipated acts of 2005. Not only was there talk, but we stepped up and delivered every time.
