COREY CHECKS IN FROM PHILLY…12/09/2005

「Hello Everyone!
ツアーは順調だ！バンドもクルーも今まで一緒にツアーした中でも最高にいい連中だよ。
ショウに来て素晴しいものにしてくれたみんなに感謝したい。そしてこのツアーで新たに俺達のファンになってくれた人、応援ありがとう！
　皆も知っているとおり、史上最高のアーティストの一人であるダイムバッグ・ダレルの悲劇的で痛ましい死から、昨夜（2005/12/8）でちょうど１年だった。皆と同様、俺たちもずっとダイムのファンだから、俺達のダイムへの大いなる感謝の気持ちを表現したいと思ったんだ。彼から受けたインスピレーションの数々、そして世界中のキッズが学んできた、そして永く将来にわたっても学び続けるであろう驚くべきリフの数々に対しての謝意だ。
　昨夜のワシントンDCでのショウは、敬意を払って出来るだけ特別なものにしようと決め、”Domination” と、”Walk”の一部（管理人註：2nd chorusから演ったみたい）を演奏して、メンバー全員へ大きな影響を与えてくれたダイムへの、俺達なりの敬意を表したんだ！

　しかもそのうえダイムバッグの長年のガールフレンドであるリタが、ダイムが最後のパンテラのツアーで使用した２本のギターを、俺たちに持って来てくれた。俺が弾いたのは the rebel/confederate Washburn で、マットが弾いたのは、フレットボードに　Washburn　と入ってる the diamond plated “Reinventing the Steel”　だ。どっちもほれぼれするような弾き心地。こんなに光栄なことはないよ、圧倒されて言葉もない。
　こんなに大切な日に、はるばるやって来て俺たちと共に時を過ごしてくれた寛大で親切なリタに対し、あらためて俺達全員から感謝と敬意を表する。
　ダイムのために Crownをあけて blacktooth のグラスを傾けた、ありがとう。
　ツアー後に少しオフを挟んで、1月に In Flames とツアーに出るのが楽しみだ。チケットは取りにくいみたいだから、取れる時に取っといてくれよ！
　来週金曜日から少しオフ。1月はじめからAudio Hammer Studios で Jason と共に次回作「The Crusade」のプリプロを始める。すでに山ほどリフを書いていて、1月末にツアーに出る前に、その中のいくつかのアイデアはまとめておきたい。新しいマテリアルを書いて、皆に披露するのが本当に楽しみだ！
　とにかく、今年の何もかもに感謝だよ、いい１年だった。いろいろ学んだし、素晴しい人々に出会ったし、2006年も素晴しい年にしたい。俺達みんな楽しみにしているよ。

Hello Everyone!
Well the Bodom tour has been a great tour! The bands and crews are some of the nicest people we have been on tour with.
We want to thank all the fans for coming out and making the shows so great and thanks to the new fans we made on the this tour we appreciate all the support you have given us!
As everyone knows last night December 8th 2005 was the one year anniversary of the tragic and heartbreaking death of one of the best musicians of all the time Dimebag Darrell, like all of you we are and have always been fans of Dime’s so we wanted to express our thankfulness and appreciation to Dime for all of his inspiration and all of his amazing riffs that millions of kids learn every year and will continue to learn for many, many years to come.
We decided out of respect we would make last nights show in Washington, DC as special as we could and for the show we did a tribute by playing Domination and part of Walk to show our respect to a man who inspired everyone in the band so much!
To top it off Dimebag’s longtime girlfriend Rita brought us 2 guitars Dime played on the last Pantera tour to play for the show last night, I played the rebel/confederate Washburn and Matt played the diamond plated “Reinventing the Steel” written up the fretboard Washburn, those guitars play so fucking sweet and we are beyond words and overwhelmed that we had the honor to use them. We all would like to thank and give our respect to Rita for being so generous and kind to us and for coming out and spending time with is on such an important day in her life.
I can confirm the blacktooths were flowing and a couple bottles of Crown were drank in honor of Dime, Thank You.
We are looking forward to some timeoff and then hitting the road with In Flames in January, tickets will be hard to come by for this run so pick ’em up when and where you can.
We will be taking some time off starting next Friday and then beginning in January we will hit Audio Hammer Studios with Jason to begin pre-production on our next album titled THE CRUSADE. We have been writing a ton of riffs so we will get some of our ideas down and work on them before we head out on tour at the end of January, we are really excited to be able to finally write some new material and look forward to letting you hear it!
Anyway, thanks for everything this year was really great, we learned alot and meet some great people along the way, 2006 should be great and we are all looking forward to it.
